Rimski vrelec beneath Uršlja Gora is one of the oldest and most highly regarded mineral springs in the Carinthia region. Its acidic water is exceptionally pure, rich in natural carbon dioxide, and has a pleasant, slightly tangy taste. As early as the first analyses in the 19th century, it was confirmed to be a top-quality alpine bicarbonate spring, free of sulphur and harmful impurities. Thanks to its beneficial effects on the respiratory system, digestion, urinary tract and overall wellbeing, the water was valued for health and strength.

The spa soon became a popular retreat known for its peace, hospitality and healing baths. Surrounded by spruce forests, Rimski vrelec welcomed locals, travellers and families seeking relaxation and wellbeing.

Today, the Kotuljska Slatina spring still retains its healing power. Under the care of Rimski vrelec d.o.o., the resort is being renewed while remaining a place of health, hospitality and connection, where guests can experience nature and discover the rich history and cultural heritage of Uršlja Gora, the Mežica Valley and Carinthia.
