Its acidic water is exceptionally pure, rich in natural carbon dioxide, and has a pleasant, slightly tangy taste. As early as the first analyses in the 19th century, it was confirmed to be a top-quality alpine bicarbonate spring, free of sulphur and harmful impurities.
