The water of Rimski vrelec was classified as a hydrogen carbonate acidic mineral water without sulphur compounds, with a distinctive taste and a high content of free carbonic acid. In the past, the spring contained hydrogen sulphide.<br><br><strong>Kosmas Sch\u00fctz<\/strong> protected the spring from surface water and eliminated the smell of sulphur, ensuring the stability and purity of the water. The water was classified in the CaMgNa group and defined as a hydrogen carbonate acidic mineral water with low mineralisation (2\u201310 g\/kg). \t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/blockquote>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b764725 p-no-margin elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b764725\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The analyses showed an elevated iron content, so the removal of excess iron was required before bottling. Nevertheless, the water was in stable carbonate equilibrium and technologically undemanding to process. In terms of sensory characteristics, it was comparable to waters from Roga\u0161ka Slatina and Radenci, as well as to the foreign springs Wildungen in Germany and Piwniczna in Poland.
