Between 1947 and 1953, young people studying at the Metallurgical Industrial School resided in its premises. From 1954 to 1962, it served as a holiday home for employees of the Uljanik shipyard in Pula. In the 1990s, following the denationalization process of nationalized property, ownership was transferred to the Municipality of Ravne na Koro\u0161kem.
